Power delivery & High torque

The BMW ALPINA B5 GT is powered by the well established 4.4 litre V8 bi-turbo engine, renowned for its dynamic and smooth power delivery and high torque. For the first time, this engine delivers 466 kW (634 hp) and a maximum torque of 850 Nm – achieved though flow-optimised air intake ducts and air intake silencers as well as an accompanying changes to the engine software and the boost pressure. This makes it the most powerful engine in ALPINA's history!

330 km/h - Benchmark

The sprint from 0 to 100 km/h takes just 3.2 seconds (Touring: 3.4 seconds) – especially breath-taking ist the instant and continuous thrust up to a top speed of 330 km/h (Touring: 328 km/h). These numbers are bestin-segment and make the B5 GT possibly the fastest series production “family” Saloon and Touring worldwide.

The Touring also benefits from a marginally reduced ride height, resulting in a lower centre of gravity and optimised roll support on the rear axle.

Leistungsdiagramm B5 GT

Stated fuel consumption and CO2 emissions are measured pursuant to EU Regulation 715/2007 in its applicable version. From 1st of September 2018 the Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicles Test Procedure (WLTP) has replaced the New European Driving Cycle (NEDC).
From January 2021 onwards, European Union member states are required to ensure that new passenger cars offered for sale, for lease or exhibited in showrooms or similar, are clearly labelled with consumption and emission data according to the new WLTP test cycle. Work is currently underway on the amendment of the German regulatory framework which governs the implementation of this European Union obligation in German law, its final completion however is still outstanding. For a number of new vehicles, NEDC consumption and emission values are no longer available, it is therefore reasonable that the more realistic WLTP consumption and emission values are provided to customers instead.
The official manufacturer consumption and emission values have already been determined on the basis of the new WLTP test cycle and, for some models, calculated back to NEDC test cycle for information purposes. The WLTP values are used for the assessment of taxes.

All technical data apply to the German market, additional international units of measure shown in the technical data for the purposes of information only. Further information on specific fuel consumption and CO2 emissions of new passenger cars is provided by the ‚Leitfaden über den Kraftstoffverbrauch, die CO2-Emissionen und den Stromverbrauch neuer Personenkraftwagen‘ which can be obtained free of charge at all points of sale and from the Deutsche Automobil Treuhand GmbH (DAT) or online https://www.dat.de/co2/.

Modifications and errors excepted.
